Well, according to North Dakota - it's officially winter.
We have the freezing rain and snow (sleet) tonight. It's been in the 30s this week and part of last week.
Amazingly enough, I'm excited for us to get dumped on with snow again like last year.

Everyone just complains about it nonstop, and I just sit there and smile. It honestly doesn't bother me. As long as the roads are clean so I can get to work and back. I'm a happy camper.
It may be because I'm just such a sucker when it comes to Christmas. Everything about it makes me happy. I was in a bad mood today, until I ran to Herberger's to look for a coat, and accidentally found the Christmas stuff. It immediately put a huge smile on my face.
I love when you go on a vacation somewhere "warm" and it could be 60 degrees and they are in winter coats and all bundled up.
I'm a North Dakotan, and I wear shorts flip-flops year round. Yes, year round. There could be 6 feet of snow on the ground, and if I have a path cleared off to walk on, I'll wear my flip flops. It could be 3 degrees, and you could catch me wearing shorts to run errands.
I live in upstate ny, so we get snow, but not like I imagine you do! I find the first few snowfalls charming, and love a white christmas as much as the next girl. But when it gets to the end of January and I know we've got a good 3 more months of cold, wet weather.....I can get a little whiny :)
